The TP-Link Deco M5 AC1300 Whole Home Mesh Wi-Fi System (3-Pack) is a dual-band mesh Wi-Fi solution designed to provide seamless wireless coverage throughout large homes, villas, apartments, and small offices. Using TP-Link Mesh Technology, the three Deco units work together as a single Wi-Fi network with one SSID, automatically connecting your devices to the strongest node as you move around your home for uninterrupted streaming, gaming, video conferencing, and browsing.
Powered by IEEE 802.11ac Wave 2 (Wi-Fi 5) technology, the Deco M5 delivers combined wireless speeds of up to AC1300, offering 400 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band and 867 Mbps on the 5 GHz band. It supports advanced technologies such as MU-MIMO, Beamforming, Auto Path Selection, Band Steering, and Self-Healing, ensuring fast, stable, and reliable wireless performance for over 100 connected devices.
The 3-Pack provides whole-home Wi-Fi coverage of up to 5,500 sq. ft. (approximately 510 m²), eliminating dead zones and ensuring strong connectivity throughout larger properties. Each Deco unit features two Gigabit Ethernet LAN/WAN ports, allowing flexible wired connections for computers, gaming consoles, smart TVs, and switches, while also supporting Ethernet Backhaul for maximum mesh performance.
Security and management are handled through TP-Link HomeCare™, which includes Parental Controls, Quality of Service (QoS), SPI Firewall, guest networks, IPv4/IPv6 support, and centralized management via the TP-Link Deco mobile app. Setup is simple with Bluetooth-assisted installation and step-by-step configuration through the app.
